Microsoft Readies Vista RC1

Looks like calls for Microsoft to add another beta to the Windows Vista timeline are falling on deaf ears. Microsoft has begun testing internally Vista Release Candidate (RC) 1 builds and will likely issue one more interim test build, designated RC1, to a group of selected testers before the actual RC1 ships, according to Neowin. Microsoft's publicly released August Direct X 10 software development kit requires Vista RC1 to run, in fact. Testers are expecting a wide-scale public release of RC1 in late August or early September.
