<![CDATA[Starting December 16th, travelers on Delta Shuttle flights between New York City, Boston and DC will be able to connect to the web while in flight. Laptops, PDAs, and smartphones will all be able to surf the web, which will costs users $9.95. Delta plans to have its entire fleet of planes covered by May 31, 2009, as well as those of its merger partner, Northwest Airlines. For flights longer than 3 hours, the price of Internet access jumps to $12.95. While IT vendors from IBM, Hewlett-Packard and Dell have made small and midsized business a major focus for more than a year, Super Micro is now also looking to enter the field with a new energy-efficient server system called the SuperServer 5035L-iB. Unison is Challenging Microsoft, IBM, and Google by offering Free Unified Communications. Unison Technologies will be delivering a free, ad-supported unified communications software suite for SMBs that includes e-mail, instant messaging, contacts, calendars and VOIP for messaging and collaboration. Aptana on Dec. 11 released Aptana PHP 1.0, its open-source integrated development environment for PHP application development. With the new product, Aptana extends the functionality the company offers to developers in its Aptana Studio tools suite, which is an Eclipse-based IDE for AJAX and Web development. Meanwhile, Aptana PHP provides common IDE features such as code assist and instant syntax checking capabilities that support not only PHP, but also AJAX libraries, JavaScript, HTML and CSS.<br/>   -   Video Content....]]></description>

Now, they've released the Android Dev phone 1, and the best part is that's its SIM-unlocked and Hardware-unlocked. The new phone will retail for $399. Salesforce.com and Google return to the integration grist mill. Programmers will now be able to move data between the Salesforce.com, Force.com and Google App Engine cloud computing platforms. Facebook's 120 million users are being targeted by a virus dubbed Koobface that uses the social network's messaging system to infect PCs. Find out what this could mean to you and your Facebook account. A report released this week, explains how The Department of Homeland Security has failed to ensure the nation's cybersecurity - concluding that the threat of cyberattacks is too vast for any one agency to tackle. So the Center for Strategic and International Studies commission is recommending that President-elect Barack Obama create a new office in the White House: the National Office for Cyberspace. A paper published in Nature Photonics details Intel researchers' efforts to develop a silicon-based avalanche photodetector, or APD, a sensor that detects and amplifies light signals.

<![CDATA[Last year the US government blocked Youtube from overseas military bases, but now there's a new online video sharing site on the block: TroopTube. The site designed to help military families connect and keep in touch while miles apart. Anyone can upload video. Content is vetted by Pentagon officials for national security and copyright violations.

AMD recently released it new Opteron Processor, named Shanghai. The 45-nm quad-core Opteron processor uses the same socket technology and common core strategy as its predecessor, the 65-nm Barcelona processor. The new processors will also fit into the same LGA1207 housing. But perhaps the biggest news is that a total of 39 server systems from Fujitsu-Siemens, IBM, Sun Microsystems, Dell, Hewlett-Packard and Cray are compatible with the new processor. This could explain IBM recent announcement that four IBM servers that will feature the new Quad-Core AMD Opteron processor. Those four are listed here: The IBM BladeCenter LS22, The IBM BladeCenter LS42. The IBM System x3455 and the IBM System x3755.

The Storm, Blackberry's new touch screen smart phone goes on sale this Friday, Nov. 21! And speaking of smart phones, word is out that Apple may be releasing version 2.2 of the iPhone operating system on Friday Nov. 21. In addition to a redesigned MobileSafari interface, the iPhone 2.2 update will reportedly add Google Street View, transit route information, walking directions and over-the-air podcast downloads.<br/>   -   Video Content....]]></description>
