-- askaninja.comFurther reinforcing the notion that we're all easily-suggestible, credit card-wielding lemmings with poor taste in movies, Hitwise is reporting that "pirate costume" is the most popular Halloween-related search term this season, apparently due to the success of "Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Man's Chest." The phrase was responsible for 0.24 percent of all searches during the four weeks ending Oct. 21.
Those who won't be dressing up as a scabrous Jack Sparrow will be realizing their inner prurient self by dressing as tinkerbell (second most popular), Wonder Woman (third), a Playboy bunny (sixth), Dorothy (seventh), Little Red Riding Hood (eighth) or a cowgirl (ninth).
The top 10 is rounded out with appearances by Jack Sparrow in the fourth spot, Dog the Bounty Hunter in the seventh, and Jango Fett in the ninth.
