Considering that part of the reason to have the AppStore(TM) was to make sure the apps were clean from any issues, I guess they aren't bothering to check for privacy issues and just securitry issues [oh, forgot, Apple products don't get malware!]. Or how about the recent issue with the EULA for their iBook authoring tool - anything made for a fee is owned by Aopple and not the developer [since changed but some issues still exist]. Google isn't much better lately. Sign up for a YouTube account, automatically [without asking] they will create a Gmail and Google+ account for you. You mist then go in and disable what you don't want.
