Symantec is the last company I would ever trust for this.

How they keep getting rated so high is a mystery. I could tell an absolute horror story about their corporate products and support, but there is not enough space.

Near realtime malware prevention that, in theory, could stop attacks within minutes of them showing up on the Internet - not minutes within showing up on your PC. Whitelisting is a never-ending maintenance nightmare - there are always new useful sites/programs/trends popping up and users will always be using them. Heuristics can be worked around - there are no more scriptkiddies, malware is now a professional business with very smart people working in it.
