Net Applications is NOT a reliable source. Proof? Analyze their numbers and use your brain a bit more.

Ok. I'll start counting Snow Leopard Uninstalls. Ummm Zero, Zero .... Zero. Zero uninstalls on Snow Leopard.

Now let's count the number of Vista uninstalls to revert back to XP. Really the question is When do you stop counting.

If you noticed the large number of people who found Snow L. broke PShop and MS Word, and thought about how key those apps are to many people who use Macs, then you never would have claimed there were not uninstalls of it. But if you were blinkered Mac fanboy, you just might say something silly like that.

  Misleading Statistic

virtualization has made a lot of these number meaningless. For example several mac users in the enterprise, including myself, run windows with parallels or vmware fusion. So while they are running snow leopard, they are also running windows. How do you account for that?
