Intermedia SecuriSync File Sharing Service Aimed at SMBs
Integration with Microsoft Active Directory helps with provisioning and onboarding processes, as well as leveraging existing password policies.Cloud-based IT services provider and business applications developer Intermedia announced the launch of SecuriSync, a file collaboration service aimed at small to medium-size businesses (SMBs). The platform is designed to give users improved mobility without compromising control and protection for the IT department. It is a user-friendly platform similar to the ease of Dropbox, but it features enhanced security and control for business users. Similar to a host of other file sync and sharing services, SecuriSync keeps files and folders synced in real time across every desktop and mobile device. It is currently available for purchase and for resell by Intermedia partners, and a company release noted customers can try it free for 30 days. The platform is fully integrated with Intermedia's Office in the Cloud suite, eliminating the need for businesses to manage separate services for hosted Exchange, hosted PBX, Microsoft Office and other IT collaboration applications.
"SecuriSync finally gives users a file sync and share solution that's as simple to use as Dropbox, with the control and security that business customers demand," Michael Gold, president of Intermedia, said in a statement. "This service is consistent with our vision of providing small and medium-sized businesses with a tightly integrated suite of critical cloud IT services."
