Broadview Networks announced that its enterprise-grade cloud business phone system, OfficeSuite, has been added to Synnex’s SMB cloud-based voice over IP (VOIP) service portfolio via the CLOUDSolv unified communications (UC) offering.
OfficeSuite is designed to enable Synnex resellers to easily build a recurring revenue stream while solving their customers’ needs, said the cloud-based business communications services company.
The OfficeSuite enterprise-grade cloud phone system provides businesses with an IP-based phone system, unlimited nationwide calling and a Web-based management tool. The communications suite includes IP phones, basic and advanced features and call center applications without any capital investment, maintenance contracts or additional IT resources, said Broadview.
Synnex, a distributor of IT products and services, enables resellers to offer cloud-based capabilities that scale from five users to more than 10,000 endpoints. CLOUDSolv, a cloud services automation platform, was launched in 2011 to help resellers manage their cloud services business, enabling them to sell cloud services individually or as a bundled solution.
Global service provider revenue from business and residential/SOHO (small office/home office) VOIP services nearly reached $58 billion in 2011, up 16 percent from 2010, according to an Infonetics Research 2012 report. The study also noted that demand for cloud-based services helped drive hosted PBX and UC service revenue up 33 percent in 2011.
“The addition of OfficeSuite to CLOUDSolv SMB VOIP provides complete telecommunications continuity, scalability and increased control for customers, ranging from small and medium businesses to enterprise-sized corporations,” Brian Crotty, chief operating officer at Broadview, Rye Brook, N.Y., said in a statement.
Synnex resellers, once certified, can install OfficeSuite themselves or have Broadview complete the installation and setup. In either case, Broadview said it provides nationwide service and support with in-market field reps.
“Synnex’s strategy is to bring best-of-breed UC cloud solutions to the channel, giving our customers the opportunity to deliver services and solutions that build stronger relationships with their customers while securing recurring revenue streams,” Peter Larocque, president, U.S. distribution for Synnex, Greenville, S.C., said in a statement. “Broadview’s OfficeSuite cloud-based business phone system is an exceptional solution that fits into our overall UC cloud strategy and contributes to the progress we are making in the channel.”
