Enterprise software support and services provider Rimini Street, which made its reputation beginning 15 years ago by replacing expensive vendor support for Oracle’s Siebel, PeopleSoft and J.D. Edwards business management applications, is branching out big time.
Over the years, the Las Vegas-based company also added third-party support for SAP applications, and more recently support for SAP HANA Database and the Sybase family of databases, SAP middleware and database systems. It has gained about 1,900 global customers as a result—including about 100 of the Fortune 500.
Now it is moving into an entirely new area: It is offering to run complete SAP systems for its clients, so they don’t have to staff, support and maintain them on a daily basis.

Rimini Street’s AMS for SAP comprises the following core capabilities: operational support including integrated incident resolution, case management and root cause analysis to optimize ongoing operations; systems administration; SAP Basis support; system health monitoring with proactive analysis, preventative system recommendations and event detection; and enhancement support for complex SAP software landscapes.
Rimini Street estimates its clients have saved more than $4 billion in costs that they have better utilized to achieve strategic and operating goals, Ravin said.
The company’s Support Services for SAP replaces expensive and lower-value vendor annual support, saves cost, and maximizes the lifespan and return on existing software investments with no required upgrades or migrations to SAP S4/HANA, Ravin said. Rimini Street’s continued support of the SAP ECC release for a minimum of 15 additional years eliminates significant cost and risk related to SAP’s announced end of mainstream maintenance for its ECC 6 release in 2025, Ravin said.
Rimini Street’s AMS for SAP expands the scope of support available to clients who want the benefits of leveraging an integrated operations and support solution from a single, trusted vendor, Ravin said.
