Bo Manning has left Pivotal to take over as president and CEO of policy management software company Orchestria.
Divesh Sisodraker replaces Manning as president and CEO at Pivotal Corp., the CRM division of Chinadotcom Corp. Sisodraker had been Pivotals chief financial officer since October 2001 and was the companys vice president of corporate development for about 18 months before that.
Manning had taken over the top spot at Vancouver, B.C.-based Pivotal in 2001, replacing founding CEO Norm Francis. The company entertained three bids for its acquisition late last year, a sweepstakes won by Chinadotcom over Oak Investment Partners and Onyx Software Corp.
Pivotal announced Sisodrakers ascension Monday, noting that Manning wished to return to the United States to pursue other CEO opportunities. But New York-based Orchestria Corp. had already announced Mannings hiring before the Pivotal news release was sent out.
At Orchestria, which develops software for setting and enforcing corporate policies regarding the use of e-mail, instant messaging and the Web, Manning replaces company founder Pete Malcolm, who will remain with Orchestria as chief technology officer.
Prior to joining Pivotal, Manning led Deloitte Consultings CRM practice. Sisodraker had held a number of financial management roles, including at ALI Technologies, now a division of McKesson Corp., and at KPMG and HSBC Investment Bank.´
