Resonate Inc. delivered on its partnership with BEA Systems Inc. recently when it released a set of customized services for BEA WebLogic Servers based on its Commander Solutions application monitoring and performance reporting tool.
The new BEA Ready Service Package includes scripts predefined in template form for applications built on the BEA WebLogic Server 5.1. Resonate created the scripts to eliminate much of the costly upfront consulting work necessary to determine which application metrics are most important to monitor. Without the service packages, it can take a week to configure the tool for a specific customer environment, said officials with the Sunnyvale, Calif., company. The prepackaged services, offered at a set price, can reduce upfront customization time to a couple of days. Pricing ranges from $10,000 to $20,000.
