With the Droid Razr, Motorola Mobility is merging its high-end Android smartphone brand (Droid) with that of the thin feature-phones (Razr) that proved so popular a few years back.

Sanjay Jha, chairman and CEO of Motorola Mobility, took to a New York City stage to unveil the Droid Razr for journalists.
Dock
Jha emphasized that the Droid Razr will prove equally capable as both a consumer and enterprise device, and integrate with a wide variety of accessories, including the lapdock smartphone keyboard dock.
Cloud
The Droid Razr will also enable users to port data onto the phone from their personal cloud, including music.
Business Bid
Features such as remote wipe, encryption and the ability to load Office documents position the Droid Razr as a smartphone for business users.
Battery Life
Motorola claims the Droid Razr will offer 12.5 hours of 3G-enabled talk time.
Materials
Motorola detailed how the Droid Razrs steel core and Kevlar integrated into the design both help with the smartphones sturdiness despite its thinness and light weight.
Thinner
The Droid Razr is 7.1 mm thick and feels very light in the hand.
Android 2.3.5
Motorola says the Droid Razr runs Android 2.3.5, the latest version of Googles Gingerbread Android build. The OS features some minor under-the-hood tweaks from version 2.3.4.
Camera
The Droid Razr boasts a dual-camera configuration, with an 8-megapixel rear aperture paired with a front-facing HD camera. The rear camera can capture 1080p video.
Display
The Droid Razr offers a 4.3-inch super AMOLED display with qHD resolution.
Power
Powering the Droid Razr is a dual-core 1.2GHz processor. Onboard memory totals 16GB, with a preinstalled 16GB microSD card.
MotoActive
Motorola also introduced the MotoActive, a very small and square music player that doubles as a vitals monitor for exercise.
Keeping Fit
MotoActives 600MHz processor will help keep track of everything from calories burned to heart rate (thanks to an ear-based heart rate monitor). It is sweat-proof and rain-resistant.
