The s-series notebooks are built of highly anodized aluminum and feature HP’s DuraFinish for a smudge- and dirt-resistant shell. They are available with 14.0-inch or 15.6-inch displays.

The s-series notebooks come with Windows 7, SUSE Linux or Free DOS operating systems and are very thin and easy to carry. They also feature new face-recognition security.

This notebook features standard high-definition audio (SRS) premium sound, stereo speakers and a USB 3.0 port. Options include an HD Webcam and a dual-array microphone.


4Pavilion g6

The HP Pavilion g-series consists of entry-level notebooks (Pavilion g4, g6 and g7). The addition of AMD dual-core chips provides rapid Web page loads, which enables basic software to run efficiently.

These are slightly more upscale, with magnesium-reinforced (but still aluminum-encased) bodies and features that include a Smart Card reader, an HD Webcam and a fingerprint sensor.

This notebook also has optional 90-watt or 120-watt USB 2.0 docking stations, if the user prefers to keep it stationary in an office.

All the HP ProBook and Pavilion notebooks feature brushed aluminum shells that bring a professional look. They are also light, weighing in at less than 5 pounds each.

All HP Pavilion dv- and g-series laptops are powered by AMD Fusion APUs, which feature cool-running processors, even after hours of use.??íBatteries are slowly improving; these are said to get an average of 6 hours on one charge, which amounts to basically one full business day.


ProBook 4535s Features

These come with the standard ArcSoft Total Media Suite, which allows users to create, edit and finish video and audio files for inclusion in presentations. They??íhave a high-definition HDMI port that enables a direct connect to large HD displays. SRS premium sound also is a staple.


ProBook Security

All the new AMD-powered ProBooks feature preboot BIO authentication, a credential manager and drive encryption in the HP ProtectTools application. Fingerprint sensors and facial recognition apps are optional.
