Titan Ventures LP announced Thursday the acquisition of the software rights and intellectual property of Macrosoft Corp.s Sales Manager sales force automation software.

The acquisition is the third that Titan has made in the CRM space for its Telluride Technologies subsidiary, which is building its own Extended Relationship Management (XRM) suite. Titan previously announced similar agreements with Kesar Inc. and InterWorld Corp.

The acquisition happened just a day after Divine Inc. continued its acquisition spree by adding to its Customer Interaction Platform with the acquisition of Delano Technology Corp.

Telluride will combine InterWorlds Distributed Commerce Platform with Macrosofts Sales Manager to provide a “closed-loop” solution for managing all customer interactions, company officials said.

“The use of a common, standards-compliant technology platform [J2EE and XML] greatly simplifies both our internal integration efforts and those of our clients,” said Reagan Lancaster, founder and CEO of Titan Ventures. “This translates to rapid implementation, quick ROI, and the ability to rapidly respond to changing business requirements.”

Titan, based in Dallas, was founded last October. Its beginnings are similar to Divines, which also started as a venture capital company and has acquired assets from distressed e-business software companies.
