Dell Inc. on Thursday announced two new additions to its corporate Optiplex desktop line, the GX520 and the GX620.

The GX620 ($579) will be the higher-end solution, targeted at investment protection. It will be available in four different chassis sizes, including ultra-small.

The desktop will include Pentium 4 and Celeron D processors, with plans for future implementation of Pentium D Dual Core processors, Windows XP64 support, PCIe x16 graphics, and TPM 1.2 security.

The GX520 ($549), a more mainstream solution, will come in three chassis sizes, though not the ultra-small. It will offer Intel Pentium 4 or Celeron D processors, SATA II technology, and Intel GMA 950 graphics.

All seven chassis are built around the BTX design for quiet computing. They will all utilize Dell DirectDetect, a utility to identify system status.
