Like most e-mail users, you probably get a ton of unsolicited messages, and you may be getting more and more every month. In a series of experiments, the Center for Democracy and Technology, a nonprofit group based in Washington, D.C., created dozens of new e-mail addresses and then used them in various ways to see which addresses would receive the most spam.
