Dell Latitude E6400 ($1,209)
On the higher end of notebooks, Dell is offering this Windows 7-equipped notebook with an instant savings of $400. Included with the 14-inch widescreen device is an Intel Core 2 Duo processor, a 250GB hard drive, Wi-Fi and Bluetooth connectivity, and an integrated Webcam with digital microphone.
Acer Aspire Timeline CULV ($549.99)
This thin and lightweight netbook comes with an 11.6-inch LED backlit screen and boasts 8 hours of battery life with the standard six-cell battery. Businesses requiring a larger screen or optical drive can opt for the AS3810, which offers a 13.3-inch display, or the AS4810, which adds an optical drive and 14-inch display.
Lenovo IdeaPad S12 ($599)
Lenovo’s netbook offers a host of features for the price, including of course a 32-bit version of Windows 7 Home Premium, a 12.1-inch display (with 1,280-by-800 resolution), a 1.6GHz N270 processor, a 250GB hard drive, a 256MB Ion GPU, 2GB of DDR2 memory, Bluetooth 2.1+EDR, Wi-Fi functionality and a six-cell battery.
