InterVideos $99 MediaOne digital media suite provides a one-stop media management solution.
MediaOne, which shipped last month, is InterVideos first media suite and combines tools for DVD burning, movie editing and backup—all for a low price.
In tests, I used MediaOnes movie-making tool, WinDVD Creator, to create high-quality video and multimedia presentations. WinDVD Creator allowed me to import video files from a variety of sources and then use WinDVD Creators editing tools to create a media project and burn it to disk.
MediaOnes Smart Backup utility provides basic file backup and creates recovery disks to soften the blow of a system failure. The Smart Backup utility backs up drivers, applications and disk partitions.
The PhotoAlbum tool analyzes and automatically categorizes digital photos to make them easier to manage. I used the included edit tools to remove red from eyes, crop photos, and adjust contrast and brightness.
