Fuji Sponsors Online School

So, you want to know about storage? Maybe its time you went back to school.

Fuji Photo Film USA last week opened the online doors to Data Storage University, an interactive site that the company said has the answers to your storage questions.

Aimed at everyone from the consumer and reseller to the enterprise IT administrator, the site gives information on issues such as DVD versus CD and NAS versus SAN. It describes how computers talk to a network and how MP3s work.

And it does all this via such interactive devices as online labs, quizzes and a glossary. The curriculum is divided into tracks for data storage architects and resellers that advise customers. There are certification programs; textbooks; and a chat room and bulletin board, where users can discuss storage issues.

The site can be found at www.datastorageuniversity.com.

The Xerox program will run in the United States and Canada.
