SAN FRANCISCO-Open standards storage maker FalconStor, which provides the array software for a number of major systems makers, Aug. 30 demonstrated a new storage area network accelerator and a data protection package at VMworld 2010 specifically for VMware’s View control suite.
The demonstrations are taking place in the FalconStor booth 1407 at VMworld 2010 in San Francisco today through Sept. 2 at the conference, which is expected to attract more than 20,000 attendees.
In the VMware Lab, FalconStor will be demonstrating the FalconStor Network Storage Server (NSS) replication solution for VMware and FalconStor software’s extended configuration and troubleshooting capabilities for VMware vCenter Site Recovery Manager, the company said.
In addition, FalconStor is conducting a daily “Stack of Cash” contest for visitors to its booth and will award a $500 prize each day.
