Theres growing suspicion that whats now known as “business intelligence” technologies, such as CRM and data warehousing, have failed. Simon Clark, a management consultant at Katapult-IT, believes that data warehouses have become data dumping grounds. CRM is worse, having empowered businesses in one-sided relationships with customers wherein they essentially become stalkers, pestering customers to buy products they dont want.
