Slashdot prepared a list of (unsurprisingly) irreverent questions for CAs Sam Greenblatt, senior vice president and chief architect of CAs Linux Technology Group, about the $1 million in prize money the company has pledged to give to developers who come up with tools to migrate people onto its newly open-sourced database, Ingres. Greenblatt is pretty darn noncommittal on many questions, but he does offer some corrections to a history of CA that lists it as a place where “good products go to die,” as question No. 1 suggests.
