Zoho continues to build out its suite of business applications to

offer low-cost alternatives to software as a service options from

Salesforce.com, Oracle and NetSuite.

The Pleasanton, Calif., division of AdventNet introduced Zoho

Invoice, an invoice-generation and tracking application that lets

financial personnel create, send and track invoices and estimates.

Financial specialists first add customers, define products or services

and then create the invoices, Zoho Evangelist Raju Vegnesa wrote in a

blog post March 28. Users can then e-mail, print or export their

invoice as a PDF file.

Users can also define recurring profiles to send invoices to

customers in weekly, monthly, quarterly or yearly cycles. There are

also options to dictate late fees and discounts, as well as the

ever-present sales tax charge.
