Hi, I’m John Pallatto, Editor in Chief of eWEEK and I’m here to tell you about the most comprehensive Website redesign in the history of our news organization.

We have modernized eWEEK as a highly responsive, feature-rich site that delivers IT industry news, analysis and trends in an elegant and engaging digital experience across all desktop and mobile devices.

The overriding goal of our redesign effort is to make it easier than ever for our readers to engage with eWEEK. Our readers will find streamlined navigation, personalized content and deeper social media integration with our content.

We have streamlined site navigation so that news topics and content types have distinct levels within the Nav bar.  Readers have told us that Big Data and virtualization technology are more important news topics than ever and they are taking a more prominent placed among our spotlighted content along with, mobile, cloud computing, security and more.

Registered readers can log in to follow the latest news content or engage with eWEEK’s editor’s contributors and discussion threads. All of our latest content funnels into a personalized view, called My eWEEK were readers can organize their preferred content and track the latest discussions.
