Sybase Inc. subsidiary iAnywhere Solutions Inc. this week is introducing a new version of its remote-access software.

M-Business Anywhere version 5.5 adds support for Microsoft Corp.s Tablet PC and Windows PC operating systems. Officials at the Dublin, Calif., company said customers wanted to be able to deploy the same Web applications to all of their remote devices, including the big ones. Previous versions focused solely on PDAs.

The software also includes new usage-tracking capabilities and, for customers with global deployments, the ability to support multiple languages at the same time. It is available immediately. Pricing ranges from $69 to $299 per user license, depending on configuration.
