Windows 7 on Mac

Here you see Windows 7 Ultimate running in the older Coherence mode on Parallels Desktop 5. In Crystal mode, Windows 7 looks like Windows running on a PC.
Crystal Mode

Running in Crystal mode, Windows applications are stored in a stack in the Dock. A Parallels icon in the Apple menu bar provides access to Windows functions.
Windows Aero Flip 3D

New graphics support and a focus on running the new Windows 7 interface can best be seen here, where I’m using the Windows Aero flip to thumb through my running Windows applications.
Windows Stack

Clicking on the new Windows Stack icon reveals basically what would be seen from the Windows Start menu.
Parallels Desktop 4 Removal

On my Mac mini test system, Parallels Desktop 5 removed my previous Parallels Switch to Mac edition while leaving the virtual machines.
Minimal Windows Exposure

Here you see a good example of using Windows with minimal exposure of the Microsoft operating system on the Mac mini test system.
