Symantecs $69.95 Norton SystemWorks 2004 isnt a must-have, but it can still be useful for trouble-shooting systems.
Along with the classic disk and system management utilities, SystemWorks 2004 includes the CleanSweep program uninstaller, the Norton Goback system recovery tool, several Internet checkup tools and the new Norton AntiVirus 2004.
The only other new feature in SystemWorks 2004 is Norton Password Manager, a simple-to-use and secure utility for managing multiple passwords.
Also new in this version is the introduction of anti-piracy product activation. Given the hassles of product activation, especially in IT environments where system imaging and deployment tools are used, I believe that sticking with the similar previous version of SystemWorks might be a better option, unless a business really needs the new version of AntiVirus or password management.
