ATG Upgrades CRM App

Art Technology Group Inc. will announce Friday the availability of ATG 6, the latest version of its flagship e-commerce, portal, and CRM platform, meeting the companys planned fourth quarter ship date of the software.

ATG 6 was first announced in August.

Central to this release is the new ATG Publishing module for content management. ATG 6 also includes a previously unannounced integration module for Documentum Inc.s enterprise content management software.

There is also an integration module for Siebel Systems Inc.s customer relationship management software, a new integrations framework, and an enhanced adapter to TIBCO Software Inc.s enterprise application integration software.

Other features in ATG 6 include a new Search module and support for J2EE 1.3 in ATGs Dynamo application server. An Analytics module is expected to be added next quarter.
