Cloud-based digital transformation services specialist eXalt Solutions announced the availability of its Knowledge Work-as-a Service (KWaaS) platform, which helps businesses digitally transform themselves.

Because eXalt’s KWaaS platform is a service, implementation it can be completed in weeks without a major outsourcing or IT project, and marketing, e-commerce or operational executives can specify business rules changes that eXalt loads into its cloud platform without any software or IT involvement.

“Digital transformation can be a daunting task for companies who are often siloed, that lack expertise or resources, or who mistakenly think digital transformation is yet another IT project,” Leslie Swanson, president and CEO of eXalt Solutions, told eWEEK. “eXalt addresses these issues by making it easy. Because eXalt’s KWaaS platform is truly a service, we populate the rules in the platform to create digital workers that are either digital advisors, digital administrators or digital analysts.”

Marketing, e-commerce or operational executives can specify business rules and changes and eXalt does loads into its cloud platform without any software or IT involvement, she noted.

“Implementation it can be completed in weeks without a major outsourcing or IT project,” Swanson said. “We are selling digital workers and not technology that requires programming and risk.”

She noted digital workers fill in the knowledge gaps and make it easier for buyers and companies to conduct business.

“Each interaction can be automated with rules or customized for users over the web to make it personalized for each type of user,” she said.

The KWaaS platform offers three types of digital workers to scale the business-to-business (B2B) sales process, including:

–digital advisors, who help buyers access smarter ways to shop and solve their problems;

–digital administrators, who help to make businesses more connected to themselves and each other; and

–digital analysts, who offer businesses improved visibility and anticipate and act on change.

“Our vision is to offer digital workers to complement human workers for the front-to-back B2B sales process,” Swanson said. “Any B2B vendor, distributor or reseller in single or multitier channel sales can scale their output to be many times their peers by leveraging KWaaS to create digital workers.”

In the last year, the company re-architected its platform to specifically address knowledge work automation in the enterprise.

“The traditional B2B sales process is notoriously slow and has many knowledge gaps that are bridged by high-touch manual labor across a vast partner ecosystem,” Swanson said. “Recent trends are making it difficult for companies to rely on traditional phone sales or simple catalog websites.”
