Egrail Inc. said it has simplified the processes for monitoring and completing Web site content creation tasks.

The customizable workflow module is part of the Bethesda, Md., companys newest content management tool, the eGrail Enterprise Content Management Server 4.0.

Company officials tout the servers ease of use and implementation—its an open architecture with pure Web access and wizard interfaces—as key advantages.

The Web-based workflow module is an important tool in protecting the integrity of a Web site and reducing errors by ensuring appropriate review before content is updated or modified. Other features include a Java 2 Enterprise Edition Software Developers Kit, an object wizard for defining objects and an import/export tool that enables companies to transport Web site elements using an Extensible Markup Language file format.

The server is available now, with an unlimited use price starting at $250,000 or a per-user price of $25,000 for up to 10 users.
