Iron Mountain Upgrades, Unifies Its E-Discovery Suite

Iron Mountain Digital announced Jan. 31 at the LegalTech East Conference in New York that it has upgraded its relatively new enterprise e-discovery suite.
The Boston-based data security company, now in its 60th year of business, released enhancements to two key components of its Enterprise Discovery Suite with Iron Mountain Legal Discovery 10.0 and Iron Mountain eVantage 2.0.
The upgrades to both the cloud-based and on-premises versions of the e-discovery package comprise a unified legal repository with advanced analytics for document review and early case assessment, the company said. The combination of these updates makes the costs of legal document discovery more predictable for companies and enables in-house and outside counsel to simplify their workflows and find deadline legal information faster, Iron Mountain said.
The enhancements contain new text-finding analytics that automatically locate documents and message threads containing Social Security numbers, credit card numbers and other patterned expressions that may be subject to data privacy mandates.
In addition, new classification software provides high-throughput processing of large volumes of documents into existing concept folders for large, complex, fast-moving matters, the company said. Review time has been reduced, thanks to a real-time, metadata-based faceted search engine that slices and dices complex document sets.
Advanced persistent keyword highlighting also allows attorneys to automatically track multiple sets of keywords across large data sets to find relevant documents faster, the company said.
Iron Mountain Legal Discovery and Iron Mountain eVantage are available as stand-alone products or as components of the Iron Mountain Enterprise Discovery Suite, introduced in October 2010.
Iron Mountain’s total Enterprise Discovery Suite includes Iron Mountain NearPoint, Classify & Collect, eVantage, Iron Mountain Legal Discovery and Iron Mountain consulting.
