Onepage Inc. last week introduced a technology that company officials said will make it easier for users in corporations and at consumer Web sites to create personalized portals. MyWeb will enable users to view any data source and turn it into an Extensible Markup Language feed for a personalized portal.

The software automatically tracks where data comes from so that if the source changes, the link is not broken. This differentiates MyWeb from many other portal products, which often simply tap into HTML code and run scripts that send that code to a specific portal, said the Redwood City, Calif., company. Pricing for MyWeb, available now, begins at $25,000 for a departmental implementation and at $125,000 for an enterprise implementation.
