For businesses that want to find out where their customers are coming from, DataFlux Corp., a subsidiary of SAS Institute Inc., has added geocoding capabilities to its dfPower Verify PowerPack data quality software.

The geocode option provides ZIP+4-Centroid-level geocoding and will return longitude/latitude, state/county Federal Information Processing Standard codes and census tract and block group numbers to the user.

DataFlux, based in Cary, N.C., has released Version 4.2 of its dfPower Studio product, which enables the importing of data standardization business rules into dfPower Studio, enhancements for choosing surviving records during duplicate elimination and the ability to review the results of the duplicate elimination process before making database changes.

The dfPower Verify-Geocode PowerPack is available now as an add-on for new or current DataFlux customers. dfPower Studio 4.2 is also available now.

A free trial version of dfPower Studio can be downloaded at www. dataflux.com/demozone. asp.
