Much of the VM creation wizard remains the same as previous versions of Workstation 6.5, easy to use and no gratuitous changes to trip up experienced users.

ACE (Assured Computing Environment) authoring tools in Workstation 6.5 enable the creation of managed, secure standard desktops.

Windows 2008

I created and used a Windows Server 2008 VM in Workstation 6.5 (without the Hyper-V role enabled) with good results.

USB Device Part 1

I checked a number of USB devices, including a Canon PowerShot camera, to ensure proper operation of the USB port between the host and VM.

And also my iPhone using iTunes via the USB sync cord.
