Internet security solutions and appliance provider SonicWALL, based in Sunnyvale, Calif., announced a partnership with small to medium-size business (SMB) distributor D&H Distributing. D&H will supply the entire SonicWALL product portfolio, including network security, secure remote access, content and email security, and backup and recovery solutions.
“The addition of D&H to the SonicWALL family presents an excellent opportunity for all parties,” said SonicWALL’s vice president Marvin Blough. “The SMB market has been our core market since our inception and continues to grow as businesses embrace the productivity gains unleashed by security and networking technology. This agreement with D&H opens new opportunities for SonicWALL’s SMB channel partners and will significantly boost D&H’s own business and network as well.”
D&H delivers a broad selection of SMB categories, products and applications. The company’s offerings span server and infrastructure, (small home office) SOHO and mobile applications, consumer electronics and gaming.
SonicWALL has three business units: Network Security, Content Security and Business Continuity. Their product lines within these business units include devices that provide a firewall, UTM (Universal Threat Management), VPN (Virtual Private Network), backup and recovery and anti-spam/email and content filtering, as well as software and value-added subscription services.
“D&H is excited to offer its SMB customers effective, powerful and affordable security solutions from a channel-focused partner like SonicWALL. We look forward to their becoming a valued member of our vendor community,” said D&H vice president of purchasing Rob Eby. “We plan to help SonicWALL make additional market inroads through our SMB resellers, while delivering a value that will help those VARs differentiate themselves in this tight economy.”
