Logitech officials a year ago launched the company’s partner program as part of a larger effort to grow its capabilities in the competitive video collaboration space. Now the vendor this month announced 15 new members to the program, including Intel, FreeConferenceCall.com and Fuze.

The new members add to the original partners that joined the Logitech Collaboration Program in July 2015, including Blue Jeans Network, BroadSoft, Vidyo, Zoom Communications and former Logitech subsidiary Lifesize. The program is designed to grow Logitech’s reach in the collaboration space by integrating and optimizing third-party software and hardware offerings in such areas as cloud video services to meeting room technologies.

“Our customers are looking for conference room video to be as seamless and easy to join as it is from the desktop,” Scott Wharton, general manager of Logitech’s video collaboration group, said in a statement. “Working together with industry-leading technology companies on the integration of Logitech products enables us to deliver ease of use without compromising in-room quality and experience.”

Logitech has long been known for selling PC peripherals like mice, keyboards and speakers, but over the past few years it has grown its collaboration business. The company got into the video conferencing space in a big way in 2009 when it bought Lifesize for $405 million. Logitech earlier this year spun out Lifesize, though it kept a stake of more than a third of the company.

Logitech also over the past few years rolled out a range of corporate video collaboration products under the ConferenceCam moniker.

The company runs separate tracks within its partner program, including the Cloud Video Conferencing track, where vendors like Lifesize, Vidyo and Zoom reside. New members there include CounterPath, FreeConferenceCall.com and Fuze. Intel is joining C2G in the Complementary Technology track, as is Pexip, Clary Icon, HD Technology Partners and SMART Technologies.

All the partners also get access to Logitech’s software reference kit, which enables third-party vendors to integrate with Logitech’s audio and video devices across Windows, Mac OS X and Linux operating systems.
