HTC says the high-resolution, 3.2-inch LCD touch-sensitive screen, combined with TouchFLO 3D technology, makes the user experience more instinctive.

A five-megapixel color camera offers auto focus for quality image and video capture. HTC has also included a second camera, VGA CMOS color camera, for video calling.

A Qualcomm MSM7200A, 528 MHz processor powers the smart phone and its applications, offering 288 MB of RAM and 512 MB of ROM. HTC has also built in an expansion slot fitted for a microSD memory card.

HTC says it’s striving to access and connect to media, messages and friends. The Diamond2’s TouchFLO 3D interface with zoom bar, running on top of Windows Mobile 6.1 Professional, offers enlarged touching areas on the screen.

The Touch Diamond2 comes with a rechargeable Lithium-ion battery good for up to 340 minutes of talk time and up to 500 hours of standby time, depending on your network.

Along with an internal GPS antenna, the smart phone also offers Bluetooth 2.0 and Wi-Fi connectivity, as well as the HTC ExtUSB, which serves as n 11-pin mini-USB 2.0 and audio jack in one.

Pricing has not yet been announced, but HTC says the Touch Diamond2 will be available in the second quarter of 2009. One catch? It will only be available in European and Asian markets.

The Touch Pro2 features an updated 3.6-inch 800 x 400 touchscreen with a touch-sensitive zoom slider and adjustable tilt screen, a nice upgrade from the previous VGA screen.

Featuring Straight Talk technology, HTC claims the Pro2 is a palm-size professional conference phone, with a powerful speaker and dedicated noise-canceling microphone for excellent sound quality during conference calls.

The Pro2’s slide-out 5-row QWERTY keyboard keeps you messaging on the go with “Straight Talk” technology that allows users to “seamlessly” shift conversations between conference calls, single-line calls and email.
