The Motorola Atrix 4G earned a 9 out of 10 from repair site iFixit, which called it the most repairable smartphone weve ever taken apart!

Beginning March 6, AT&T will sell the Atrix 4G and a separate dock—though they come at a discount when purchased together—that the smartphone can click into, offering a user a laptop-like experience.

A particular perk of the Atrix 4G, shown here completely disassembled by iFixit, is that the LCD isnt glued to the front-panel glass. Replacing the glass, should it break, doesnt have to mean also replacing a fully functional LCD.

Also interesting, said iFixit, was this bit of efficiency: Housed on a single ribbon cable is the front camera, earpiece speaker, power-button assembly and top microphone.

The motherboard shows off one of phones major attributes—the Qualcomm chip, in red, supporting its 4G capabilities—and blocks another, its Nvidia Tegra 2 CPU/GPU processor.

The iFixit team also applauded instructions Motorola included on the phones back cover for easily removing the battery, and details like a sticker, showing model numbers and SKUs, employed with an adhesive that made it easy to remove and then reapply. Aside from MotoBlur and Motorolas dreaded anti-root mechanism, iFixit wrote, We love just about everything else with the phone, including its uncanny ability to be repaired.
