In New York City, Verizon store doors opened at 7 a.m. to accommodate customers either purchasing a new iPhone 4, or transferring their account to Apples smartphone.

The iPhone 4 on Verizon breaks AT&Ts exclusive hold on the iPhone. Analysts seem unanimous in predicting that a percentage of AT&T iPhone customers will migrate to Verizon.??í

Despite the hoopla surrounding the iPhone 4 on its network, Verizon stores seem to be prominently featuring other devices, including Motorolas Droid franchise.??í

Death Grip

Tech Website iLounge reported Feb. 8 that the iPhone 4s "death grip," in which the smartphones signal dies when bare skin touches the lower-left portion of the antenna rim, was present in the Verizon model. Whether customers complain about the issue remains to be seen.??í
