Talent management specialist Taleo, which runs a cloud-based platform for talent acquisition, performance and compensation management, announced three partnerships to expand its suite of online services. Human resources specialist HRhome joined Solution Exchange, the online solutions marketplace of Taleo’s Talent Grid along with software and consulting firm Assess Systems, while DDI (Development Dimensions International), a talent management specialist, announced its expanded partnership with Taleo.
As a members-only online resource for HR professionals, HRhome offers access to proprietary content, tools and resources in the areas of compliance requirements, employment laws, HRIS, immigration, workplace safety and policies. Through its Web portal, clients can review HR approaches such as formulating new HR policies and writing job descriptions. Members can access a searchable employment law database including regional, state and national information from Littler Mendelson, HRhome’s strategic partner and a employment law expert.
Also available are more than 500 customizable job descriptions, samples of legally reviewed, downloadable and customizable policies and forms, topic-specific pages, best practices, how-to’s and links for recruitment and staffing, training and development, benefits, compensation, safety, OSHA and more. HRhome provides twice-weekly updates on HR trends and employment law along with an Ask the HR Expert feature, where members get HR advice and answers to specific questions.
“Our vision is to provide the broadest perspective on Talent Management possible to help companies with insight on their most valuable asset – their people,” said Michael Boese, Taleo’s senior vice president for SMB and Talent Grid field operations. “With partners such as HRhome on Solution Exchange, we are delivering on that vision for our customers.”
Assess Systems joined Solution Exchange, the online solutions marketplace of the Talent Grid, making it possible for Taleo customers to explore, evaluate, and learn about Assess’ competency-based assessments. Assess helps hiring managers determine an applicant’s suitability; their assessments are designed to help hiring managers assess the candidate’s fit with the position and the organization.
“Taking part in Taleo’s Solution Exchange means that Taleo customers get quick access to our expertise when they want to add assessment to their hiring process and enhance their knowledge of candidates. It allows us to easily communicate with Taleo customers to share solutions and best practices,” said Diane Ianni, director of marketing and sales at Assess. “In the crowded assessments marketplace, selecting a provider can be a real chore but on Solution Exchange, customers can easily identify and connect with leading providers that integrate with Taleo systems.”
DDI said new solutions would be available in fourth quarter of 2010 on Solution Exchange, the online solutions marketplace of the Talent Grid, including DDI’s Tests, which can be used by organizations to assess candidates’ skills, competencies, and personal attributes and improve hiring decisions, Leadership Mirror, a Web-based multisource feedback system, which powers Taleo’s 360 module and provides customers with a view of their leaders’ strengths and their gaps, OPAL, an online competency development and performance resource, and the company’s Full 2.0 Competency Library, which encompasses a range of competencies across individual contributors and leaders as well as sales and health care roles.
