Hey, it’s Friday and you could use something for the weekend that’s more advice-driven than more blogosphere ranting and raving, right?
Anyhoo, here is a quick video from the WSJ online that has some good advice for those of you on the job prowl. This is a less-than-3-minute video from the authors of “Guerrilla Marketing for Job Hunters 2.0” that focuses on networking techniques and getting your resume noticed by recruiters and hiring managers.
While this advice is not specific to IT, it has some very good tips on places recruiters look online, as well as advice for setting up informational networking meetings. Some of this is not new, but it’s worth a viewing, especially at under 3 minutes. Enjoy.
