Tech Jobs Up Dramatically in North Carolina

Known for its research and development talent coming out of the excellent universities and technical institutes, North Carolina saw a noticeable increase in technology job openings in July of 18.5 percent, according to the North Carolina Technology Association.

Cities that experienced the most openings included Research Triangle Park, Raleigh/Cary and Fayettville. Job openings have tripled year-over-year in the state: July averaged 3,970 last month as compared to July 2009 numbers of 1,130.
