The technology sector remains a strong driver of employment in the United States, while the overall job market continues to stumble forward slowly. Despite some reports that small businesses are still relatively bearish on IT hiring, Dice's latest semi-annual hiring survey of 1,000 tech-focused hiring managers and recruiters, found nearly three-fourths of respondents plan to hire more technology pros during the second half of 2013 than in the year's first six months. The overall improving economic outlook has been a major motivating factor in the latest hiring push, according to IT career and employment site Dice.
