The smartphone runs on Android 5.1 and features a sleek black body with gold accents.
The Warp Elite also features a 3,000mAh battery, Quick Charge 1.0 technology for faster charging, and a micro SDHC slot that can accept a card up to 64GB for additional storage. The handset is 6.23 inches long, 3.06 inches wide and 0.33 inches thick. It weighs 5.31 ounces.
The Warp Elite also includes Enhanced LTE and 3G connectivity options when not on a 4G LTE network, as well as built-in WiFi hotspot capabilities for users so they can connect their other mobile devices.
"The Warp Elite is Boost’s most feature-packed smartphone for under $200," Angela Rittgers, vice president of marketing for Boost Mobile, said in a statement. "Paired with one of our Data Boost Plans customers will receive a premium smartphone experience at a reasonable price, which is a perfect example of not having to sacrifice style and features for affordability."
In addition to the smartphone, Boost customers can choose from calling plans that begin at $35 a month for unlimited calling and text as well as 1GB of high-speed 3G/4G data, according to the company, which is a prepaid unit of Sprint. An automatic payment option reduces the fee to $30 per month while giving users 2GB of high-speed data as an additional bonus. For $45, customers can also choose from a calling plan that features unlimited calling and text along with 5GB of high-speed data, or a $55 a month plan, which features unlimited calling and text and 10GB of high-speed data.
