The ZTE Warp Elite includes a 13-megapixel rear-facing camera, 4G LTE capabilities and a 5.5-inch HD touch-screen display.

ZTE's latest smartphone, the Warp Elite, is now available through Boost Mobile for $179.99 with a monthly prepaid mobile calling plan without a contract.

The Warp Elite includes a 5.5-inch HD touch-screen display that's covered with durable Coring Gorilla Glass 3, a 1.2GHz quad-core processor, 2GB of RAM, 16GB of on-board storage, 4G LTE calling capabilities, a 13-megapixel rear-facing camera and a 5MP front-facing camera for selfies. The smartphone runs on Android 5.1 and features a sleek black body with gold accents.

The Warp Elite also features a 3,000mAh battery, Quick Charge 1.0 technology for faster charging, and a micro SDHC slot that can accept a card up to 64GB for additional storage. The handset is 6.23 inches long, 3.06 inches wide and 0.33 inches thick. It weighs 5.31 ounces.

The Warp Elite also includes Enhanced LTE and 3G connectivity options when not on a 4G LTE network, as well as built-in WiFi hotspot capabilities for users so they can connect their other mobile devices.

"The Warp Elite is Boost’s most feature-packed smartphone for under $200," Angela Rittgers, vice president of marketing for Boost Mobile, said in a statement. "Paired with one of our Data Boost Plans customers will receive a premium smartphone experience at a reasonable price, which is a perfect example of not having to sacrifice style and features for affordability."

In addition to the smartphone, Boost customers can choose from calling plans that begin at $35 a month for unlimited calling and text as well as 1GB of high-speed 3G/4G data, according to the company, which is a prepaid unit of Sprint. An automatic payment option reduces the fee to $30 per month while giving users 2GB of high-speed data as an additional bonus. For $45, customers can also choose from a calling plan that features unlimited calling and text along with 5GB of high-speed data, or a $55 a month plan, which features unlimited calling and text and 10GB of high-speed data.

In July, Boost Mobile unveiled the $99.99 LG Tribute 2 and $149.99 LG Volt 2 smartphones for its customers, giving them more choices from the prepaid carrier. The Tribute 2 smartphone features a 4.5-inch In-Plane Switching (IPS) display, 1GB of RAM, a 1.2GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 410 processor and 8GB of on-board storage. It runs on Android 5.1 and is 4G LTE capable. It also offers improved battery life over the original LG Tribute phone through its removable 1,900mAh li-ion battery that promises up to 16 hours of talk time. The Tribute 2 is 5.11 inches tall, 2.56 inches wide, 0.43 inches thick and weighs 4.9 ounces.

The LG Volt 2 features a 5-inch qHD IPS display, a 1.2GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 410 processor and 1GB of RAM, along with 8GB of internal storage, which is expandable to 32GB. The handset runs on Android 5.1. It also features an 8MP rear-facing camera, as well as LG's built-in Gesture Shot feature, which allows hands-free selfies with the phone's 5MP front-facing camera through a simple wave of a hand in front of the camera. The LG Volt 2 also offers 3G, 4G LTE, Enhanced LTE and WiFi connectivity options for users, as well as an estimated 21 hours of talk time, thanks to its removable 2,540mAh li-ion battery. The Volt 2 is 5.50 inches high, 2.75 inches wide and 0.40 inches thick, and it weighs 4.8 ounces.
