Welcome to the first eWEEK Enterprise Solutions Guide, a collection of the years best case studies in our Solutions Series, plus some extra content that we think you will find valuable in your workplace.
The Solutions Series was launched about two years ago to supply specific segments of eWEEK readers with technology deployment stories in their fields of expertise.
For instance, our first such section, System Solutions, was inserted in issues of eWEEK that went to readers who worked within the channel. Our Network Solutions section was included in issues that were sent to network administrators.
The Solutions Series really kicked into gear this year, when we expanded to 11 sections, but that meant many of you received only a few of them.
In this issue, you will find case studies on specific topics in Channel, Network, Storage, Security, Government and Developer Solutions. In addition, you will receive expert commentary from eWEEK reporters and editors, as well as sample RFPs that we think will help you make your next buying decision.
Todays technology dollar is being spent more carefully than ever. Yet information on how and when to deploy a solution is not always available or reliable. Our case studies strive to answer all the questions before you jump in: What was the problem? What was the decision-making process? How did the deployment go, and what is the next step?
