Java is getting its tentacles into everything, including CRM.
Customer relationship management software developer Chordiant Software Inc. has claimed the J2EE (Java 2 Enterprise Edition) mantel for itself with the release late last month of its Chordiant 5 CRM suite.
The software, targeted at large business-to-consumer organizations, includes marketing, selling and customer service applications built on Chordiants JXL architecture, a hybrid of Java and XML.
That open architecture makes it easier to integrate with an organizations other applications and business processes, officials with the Cupertino, Calif., company said.
They describe their product as providing “dynamically driven CRM” and said it provides multidimensional views of customer behavior in real time and is adaptable to customer needs.
Chordiant 5 includes Chordiant 5 Marketing, Chordiant 5 Selling & Servicing and Chordiant 5 Enterprise Platform.
Pricing varies depending on the implementation.
