eWEEK’s esteemed Labs team has come out with a close-up, slide show look at the DXi7500, Quantum’s flagship disk-based backup and data deduplication package. The slide show includes a look inside Quantum’s Colorado Springs, Colo., assembly facility, something you don’t get to see every day.

There’s also a detailed product analysis and review just published by eWEEK storage analyst Matthew Sarrel.

Sarrel says that the DXi7500 offers a robust feature set and high-quality construction and architecture for the enterprise disk backup market. With solid throughput and deduplication performance, the DXi7500 can serve as the centerpiece of an enterprise’s VTL or NAS-based disk backup infrastructure, he contends.

Check it out. The Station will try and call these kinds of stories to your attention whenever possible, as we continue to expand our coverage of data storage, data recovery, and virtualization.
