Embarcadero Technologies will hold the fourth annual CodeRage virtual developer conference Sept. 8-11.

Embarcadero, which acquired Borland Software’s CodeGear development tools unit in 2008, is continuing with the CodeRage virtual conference started by CodeGear four years ago. The CodeRage conference will consist of four days of free online technical sessions on software development and data management issues presented by industry experts. The virtual conference also is where developers meet to share ideas, learn programming techniques, and hear about the latest development and database technologies from Embarcadero. Sessions will be held Sept. 8-11, 2009, from 5 a.m. to 7:45 p.m. Pacific time.

CodeRage 4 offers participants the opportunity to choose from more than 90 technical sessions; chat and problem-solve with other developers; check out products and deals in the exhibit hall; and learn new tips and tricks to boost productivity with Embarcadero products such as C++Builder, Delphi, Delphi for PHP, Delphi Prism, InterBase SMP, JBuilder and RAD Studio.

The addition of CodeGear into the Embarcadero fold helped to make Embarcadero into a larger independent software maker that delivers an integrated portfolio to help customers design, develop, manage and optimize heterogeneous applications and their databases. CodeGear products are used by more than 15 million users worldwide, and that number is expected to grow by up to 10 percent annually.
