Technology dinosaurs, rejoice. IBMs Advanced Technical Services (www.ibmuser.com) is offering RPG training over the Internet.

So turn off your CB-Radio and put down the Pop Rocks. Youre gonna love RPG (Report Program Generator), an IBM program thats older than a few of our editors.

At 30 years of age, RPG is still quite popular. ATS claims theres a shortage of RPG programmers. Seems like few universities are producing graduates with this skill set. A quick search on Monster.com came up with 546 positions that listed RPG skills as part of the job requirements.

Maybe its time to think about specializing in trailing technologies to bring home the bacon. PL/1 or Snobol, anyone?
