Samsung Electronics is entering the walkie-talkie market in the United States with a push-to-talk-enabled handset, the Samsung SPH-A760.

Currently available through Sprint, the clamshell design features SMS and supports Sprints Ready Link walkie-talkie-like service which launched in November 2003.

The SPH-A760 carries a suggested retail price of $229.99 but Spring is offering it at a special rate of $79.99 after a mail-in-rebate.
